Yay Plays!

Last night, 5 of my friends and I went to see the local production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged. The actors were not horrible...I'd give them an over-all rating of 8/10. But, they get a 9/10 for requiring audience participation. While doing their first run of Hamlet, they pulled a random woman from the audience to be Ophelia. They were trying to "train" her to scream for the scene, so they asked the rest of the audience to 'get her into the proper mind-set' by having us pretend to be parts of her psyche: the ego, the id and the super-ego. My friends and I (of course) got the super-ego part (how could we not!). So, while the ego was running back and forth across the stage and the id was being all wishy-washy, my friends and I were required to shout at this poor woman: "Hey Hamlet! Cut the crap! My biological clock is ticking! I want babies NOW!" This has got to be the most hillarious thing I've ever shouted at anyone in awhile...and the fact that the 2 guys in my group were shouting it as well, amused me to no end.
After the play we went to the local Cowboy Bar...and had some random local girls shout at us from across the street: Jesus Loves You! All-in-all, it was a particularly weird night.
When we got back to camp, we steam-rolled John Geissman (our prof.) who is leaving today. We get our new prof. tomorrow (some spanish dude).
Peace-out! and send postcards bitches!
